Overview

The purpose of Dignity Health Management Services Organization (Dignity Health MSO) is to build a system-wide integrated physician-centric, full-service management service organization structure. We offer a menu of management and business services that will leverage economies of scale across provider types and geographies and will lead the effort in developing Dignity Health’s Medicaid population health care management pathways. Dignity Health MSO is dedicated to providing quality managed care administrative and clinical services to medical groups, hospitals, health plans and employers with a business objective to excel in coordinating patient care in a manner that supports containing costs while continually improving quality of care and levels of service. Responsibilities

The Chief Operations Officer (COO) provides executive leadership and general business management across a broad spectrum of responsibilities – from strategic framework to operational execution. The COO communicates and interprets organizational and departmental mission goals and overall business objectives. The COO will direct the design and development of customer–focused systems and processes in order to expand operational capacity.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare or Business Administration preferred.

  • Ten or more years’ in a senior or executive level role providing leadership within a complex and highly-matrixed environment in which essential core functions are centralized under their respective departmental leaders.

  • Ten or more years’ experience working in a large scale diverse health care delivery organization or managed care environment.

  • Experience in strategic financial and administrative leadership and business development acumen, with significant experience translating strategic priorities into operational reality, aligning communication accountabilities, resource capabilities, internal processes and ongoing measurement systems to ensure that strategic priorities yield measurable and sustainable results.
