Under the direction of the Food Service Supervisor, provides assistance in all dietary functions as instructed in accordance with established Dietary policies and procedures. May be selected by seniority, on a voluntary basis, as a lead person over cafe and or kitchen. Responsible for sick calls, shift coverage, and assigning duty changes in the event that it becomes necessary to re-assign shift positions. Equipment trouble-shooting and staff accountability. Reports directly to Chief Clinical Dietitian, Supervisors, and Director.
- HSD/GED OR 2 years equivalent work experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English language.
Ability to effectively present information to co-workers, patients, and customers. Ability to do simple arithmetic.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- 2 years experience in institutional food service or Healthcare food service
