At Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center, we deliver hunamkindness through a wide range of health, social and support services in the heart of Chandler, Arizona. As part of our team, you will provide clinical experties, support and oversight that helps ensure our Srugery patients receive exceptional care.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to champion the change by joining in our mission of healing through humankindness.The supervisor will provide leadership and oversees the daily operations of the department (unit). This position decontaminates surgical instruments and other medical devices and equipment. Assembles, prepares and packages surgical instruments and equipment for various methods of sterilization and high level disinfection. Maintains quality control and biological monitoring systems for sterilization processes. Answer's telephone and responds to requests for sterile instrument's and supplies. Utilizes computer systems for case cart stock supply and stock return. Gives direction to fellow team members and works as relief lead in Supervisors absence. Orders and maintains implant inventory, resolves implant and instrument issues and works as a liaison to all OR's and nursing units to meet our patients instrument, implant and sterilization needs. Utilizes instrument tracking system to maintain instrument inventory.
3 years surgical instrument experience required
HS diploma or GED required
CRCST Certification required
Preceptor Certification required
Completion of a surgical instrument technician program
