About this opportunity:
Assists Environmental Services management by ensuring that all assigned departmental functions are completed in a timely manner according to hospital policy by providing leadership to Environmental Services staff in completion of their duties. Performs duties of Environmental Services staff positions based on staffing requirements and may function as shift supervisor during his/her absence. At all times, performs duties conscientiously in a safe and efficient manner, taking ownership in responsibilities assigned and keeping customer expectations in mind.
Two to three years experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hospital setting, carpet shampoo and floor care machines operating knowledge. Must be able to read and write basic english as defined by the organization. Ability to communicate effectively with the public (employees, vendors, patients, volunteers, physicians, etc.) and with peers. Position represented by CHEU
