The Senior Recruiter is responsible for the employment program at St. Bernardine Medical Center, which includes but is not limited to sourcing, recruitment, selection and hiring of new employees and transfer of internal applicants. Will be responsible for cultivating collaborative relationships with hiring managers and partnering with them to ensure current and future recruiting needs are met and an on-going proactive approach to retention strategies is in place. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Bernardine Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support St. Bernardine Medical Center’s strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities.
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of HR education and experience.
Minimum of 3 years recruiting experience, preferably in a health-care setting.
Experience with International Recruitment preferred (sourcing, screening, knowledge of immigration requirements, negotiating offers)
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
In depth experience utilizing behavioral interviewing.
Demonstrated direct sourcing and creative candidate generation experience
Effective oral and written communication skills
High competencies in strategic thinking, analytical abilities, organizational skills and communication / interpersonal skills with a focus on results
Knowledge of Federal and state labor and employment laws; AA/EEO regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel Internet usage and experience with applicant tracking systems
Current valid driver's license
