Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Staff Educator is responsible for the delivery of specific educational programs to SRDH employees and other participants.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • One (1) year clinical or education experience.

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated and self-directed, set priorities and manage work within established time frames.

  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and present a positive mental attitude.

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles.

  • Excellent public speaking skills.

  • Able to work flexible hours.

  • Current certification as an instructor for the course(s) taught American Heart classes, BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
