Under the direction of the Radiologist, the MRI Technician performs all MRI scans on various portions of the body to assist the Medical Staff in the detection of abnormalities. The MRI Technician performs duties and functions of a Radiology Technologist as assigned. This position requires providing care/service to the critically ill through rehabilitating patients and newborns through the geriatric population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Mary Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support St. Mary Medical Center's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan.
At least one-year full time MRI specific work experience in an acute care environment.
