Performs a variety of cleaning duties to keep assigned areas and hospital building in a clean, neat, and orderly. Condition. Performs a full range and variety of cleaning tasks, using knowledge and use of industrial cleaning equipment and solutions. Empties trash cans, washes and make up beds, dusts, vacuums carpets, mops floors, cleans grill, ovens, stoves in kitchen, buffs and waxes floors, and shampoos carpets.
Possession of valid California driver's license may be required by some of the positions.
Read and write English sufficietly to perform assigned duties. Follow simple oral and written instructions.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience as a janitor or housekeeper in an institutional setting such as a hospital, hotel/motel, or contract janitorial services.
