SR SURGICAL TECH, SURGERY
Dignity Health Northridge Hospital Medical Center
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the SR SURGICAL TECH assists in the care and preparation of the surgical patient in accordance with individual needs, physician orders, Hospital policy and standards of patient care. In addition, the SR SURGICAL TECH functions in one or more areas of specialization.
High School graduate or equivalent;
Minimum three (3) years of operating room experience in an acute care setting, with at least one (1) year specialty area
Must be able to scrub Neuro, Ortho cases
Open Heart procedures preferred
Successful completion of Surgical Technician program
Current Surgical Technician certification
AHA BLS card required
This position is represented by SEIU UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
