In keeping with the Dignity Health core values, the PBX Operator provides communications services within the organization treating the caller in a respectful and courteous manner. The operator is responsible for the telecommunications system as well as connectivity to a number of other systems including the nurse-call system, paging and the monitoring of all alarms. The operator is responsible for projecting a positive image to all in need of services.
REQUIREMENTS: High School Education preferred. Six months on-the-job related experience with automated telecommunications equipment. Basic knowledge of telecommunications is required.
This position is represented by SEIU, Local 399 and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
