Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed physician group of Dignity Health Arizona. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services.
The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic, research and leadership roles.
DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrow's healthcare providers. DHMG has 84 medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows throughout the 25 academic programs. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students.

Performs complex customer service duties, including but not limited to handling/processing inbound and outbound telephone calls and web-based interactions, as well as written correspondence and documentation with little to no supervision. Responsible for the scheduling for all modalities with minimal phone wait times. The Call Center Representative is the first point of service for patients coming into DHMG and is responsible for greeting, registering, and scheduling patient appointments. Responsible for verifying insurance eligibility and benefits. Obtains routine financial information from various sources to advise patients of payment plan arrangements and Medicare coverage. The DHMG Call Center is a very fast paced environment. It requires an individual who is able to multi-task, think critically, move quickly between significantly varying skillsets, and display a consistent humankindness throughout all interactions.

Call center experience or working knowledge of customer service or industry experience as it relates to the position required.
High School diploma/GED
Two (2) years scheduling in a medical office or other healthcare environment. Experience with electronic scheduling and health record systems. Knowledge of insurance plans. Customer service or phone etiquette training. Medical Assistant/Nursing training. College level business courses preferred. Bi-lingual Spanish. Strong medical terminology background.
