Position Title: Director, Digital Marketing

Position Summary:

As a part of the Shared Services team you’ll elevate marketing and communications results for Dignity Health. Keeping patients and prospective patients our priority, you’ll have the ability to help Dignity Health grow and champion the change we seek by joining our mission of healing. As the Director of Digital Marketing, you will have the opportunity to meet our current and future patients where they are -- online. It’s an opportunity to shape the business direction related to digital marketing, support area growth goals and lay the foundation for better patient experience.

Description:

  • Servant leader:a thought leader and consultant who can steer, manage and optimize both awareness, acquisition and consumer retention activities. A leader who can accelerate the Digital Marketing team to drive growth via SEM, SEO, paid media, display, social, voice and additional marketing channels and mediums. A leader who can coach, manage, recruit, motivate and mentor a team to reach current and future goals.

  • Collaborator:who works closely with our regional service area marketing leaders and technical and brand business partners as it relates to specific plans and tactics to create digital marketing strategies. Communicates plans, insights and actions in a meaningful way to improve the effectiveness of all marketing disciplines. Leads the development and implementation of digital engagement, nurturing and conversion programs needed to fully realize benefit of effective paid and organic digital marketing programs.

  • Partner:serves as the primary digital marketing with external vendors, including media, digital, direct and creative agencies. Develops and implements the tracking, reporting and optimization protocols consistently across digital marketing activities. Partners internally in a highly collaborative team environment to reach the best outcomes.

  • Innovator:the successful candidate will direct the creation of multiple strategic and innovative digital marketing programs to improve consumer engagement through digital, mobile and social channels. The Director will evolve, promote and grow the organization’s digital market efforts to support growth and positive ROI.

  • Team member:a team player who knows how to work with peers, management, agencies, vendor partners, internal customers and other collaborators to bring out the best in others and the plans and projects.

Requirements:

  • Creates and implements digital marketing plans, initiatives, programs and campaigns to reach and engage target segments in online forums, incorporating web, SEO/SEM, social media, mobile and CRM marketing technologies.

  • Elevates the brand through digital marketing efforts and digital properties.

  • Develops integrated content marketing strategies and systems to achieve coordination and brand consistency across all channels; ensures coordination and alignment with traditional marketing and sales initiatives.

  • Tests, learns and develops new and innoccative plans in the digital space.

  • Collaborates on the creation of conversion tools, email and display campaigns.

  • Collaborates with other executives, managers and their teams (e.g., sales, marketing, corporate communications, HR and IT) as it relates to their involvement in the execution of specific digital plans and tactics; provides leadership, mentoring and support to grow digital marketing and communications proficiencies across the organization.

  • Monitors trends in the digital space, drives reporting, testing, optimization and analysis.

  • Conducts ongoing qualitative and quantitative market analysis as it relates to digital competitiveness, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or similar and/or related field and:

  • Minimum of seven (7-10) years of experience in digital marketing and/or communications and a minimum of three (5-7) years of management experience required.

  • Master's degree or a combination of education and/or additional job related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree required.

  • Experience in developing digital marketing strategies

  • Experience in leading, managing and motivating others, both directly and indirectly

  • Experience in audience segmentation and modeling a plus
