The IT Project Coordinator (PC) is expected to work closely, on a daily basis with their Project Leader. Together they collaborate and validate, activities associated with the project plan. The PC will take direction on navigating through the management of the plan lifecycle. They will work with their leader on building skills in business functional knowledge, finance and accounting, negotiation and strategic planning.
They will be assigned to large projects or programs but generally not shared amongst project or program leaders.
The PC will work with project leader to build relationships with people at a variety of levels but they are not expected to manage business sponsor relationships.
Principal Duties and Accountabilities:
• Assist and provide support to the project team, when applying project management principles, techniques and best practices.
• Assists in compilation of project documentation and project timeline
• Minimal experience in building relationships with people at a variety of levels.
• Adhere to Dignity Health Project Management Methodologies as defined within the IT Project Management Guide
Walking construction job sites (which includes dealing with dust, heat, maneuvering over and around construction derby, walking multiple flights of stairs, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience..
1 -2 years’ experience working in or exposure to a Project Management Office .
