Responsible for performing patient evaluations, reviewing pretreatment teaching, recommending therapeutic intervention, counseling patients and families and collaborating with appropriate physicians to provide other appropriate direct care interventions within the scope of practice for nurse practitioner in collaboration with the Thoracic Disease Program Director. Primary point of contact and assumes responsibilities for managing the care for patients.
Three years clinical experience in related area or speciality
Masters' Degree in Nursing
Graduate of accredited program for Nurse Practitioners
Registered in AZ as Nurse Practitioner.
Specific training area of Thoracic Disease
AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State
BLS (American Heart Association)
Specialty certification, when applicable, acceptable if obtained within first 18 months
