Dignity Health Connected Living has been serving seniors in Shasta County since 1968. Our programs have been designed for seniors and people with disabilities and we are dedicated to meeting each patient’s physical, mental, and spiritual needs. We offer a variety of high-quality, affordable health care services in a compassionate environment.
The incumbent is responsible for actively recruiting volunteers for Senior Corps Programs: Foster Grandparent, Senior Companion and RSVP grants. The incumbent will also perform liaison services between Golden Umbrella and Volunteer Stations. They assist with all stages of the program, including application process, background checks, placements, public speaking, presentations, senior and health fairs, media and newsletters. The incumbent will also monitor all phases of the grant including assessment tools, performance measures, outcomes and goals.The incumbent works under supervision of the Director Senior Corps Program.
Current CA drivers license
Current automobile insurance
Access to transportation and must be willing to travel out of the county
Skills in communication and public speaking with social service agencies, community health centers, schools, general public and potential partners and volunteers for programming
Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Publisher, PowerPoint, email, canlendars, newsletters, speadsheets, data bases and/or graphics using various types of software computer programs
