Responsibilities

Applies CHW Core Values to the performance of every job duty. These Values include Dignity, Collaboration, Justice, Stewardship, and Excellence. Under the direction of an RN, performing basic nursing care according to established hospital policies and procedures.

Graduate of an accredited Certified Nurse Assistant Program.

Minimum 6 months recent acute care experience as a hospital attendant.

C.N.A. License

Must have American Heart Association BLS certification.

Qualifications

Experience in care of the aged. Basic knowledge of medical terminology. Basic knowledge of transport techniques. Minimum of 3-5 years combined experience in healthcare industry 1-2 years of experience with a minimum of 1 year in area of related field Complete annual safety training. Complete and maintain department specific training. Ability to read and speak English clearly and be understood. Demonstrated skill in EKG interpretation (85% score obtained on hospital test). Must have leadership ability and good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to read and speak English clearly and be understood. C.N.A. License. Must have American Heart Association BLS certification.
