The staff pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care to all patients, including both inpatients and outpatients. This pharmaceutical care is comprised of both distributive and cognitive components with the ultimate goal of providing safe and effective medication use for each individual patient. The pharmacist applies CHW Core Values to the performance of every job duty. These Values include Dignity, Collaboration, Justice, Stewardship, and Excellence.
One year's experience in a hospital pharmacy and/or completion of an ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency program.
Preferred 3 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy and/or completion of an ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency program.
Complete annual safety training. Complete and maintain department specific training.
PC Computer skills preferred.
Current registration in California as a pharmacist.
