Under the direction of the Director of Surgical Services, the PACU Staff Nurse utilizes principles of the Nursing Process, to provide individualized, goal-directed, professional nursing care to pre- and post-operative patients. Responsible for supervising the care given by escorts and others working under her/his direction.
Must have one year of recent critical care experience as a Registered Nurse and have clinical competence relevant to the patient care area.
Current license in the State of California as a Registered Nurse. American Heart Association ACLS certification. American Heart Association BLS certification. PALS certification.
Must have one year of recent critical care experience as a Registered Nurse and have clinical competence relevant to the patient care area. Minimum of 3-5 years combined experience in healthcare industry 1-2 years of experience with a minimum of 1 year in area of related field Complete annual safety training. Complete and maintain department specific training. Leadership ability and good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain emotional control in times of stress and continue to perform appropriately. Current license in the State of California as a Registered Nurse. American Heart Association ACLS certification. American Heart Association BLS certification. PALS certification
