The Secretary III in the Medical Post Graduate Education department will possess advanced secretarial and receptionist skills and knowledge to support functions of the Graduate Medical Education department, the Director and the GME Manager. This position provides friendly hospitality to all visitors and answers incoming telephone calls from designated institutional official line.
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support the Organization's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
Advanced preparation in secretarial training.
Minimum 3-5 years previous experience performing general secretarial duties.
High School diploma or equivalent required
Excellent word processing/personal computer experience required.
Proficient in English language usage, spelling and grammar.
Must demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality of information, organize time efficiently, use sound independent judgement and work with people cordially and professionally.
