Woodland Healthcare, a member of Dignity Health, is currently looking for a Lactation Consultant to join their hospital staff. Under the general supervision of the Women’s Center Supervisor, the Lactation Consultant is responsible for providing lactation education, resources and support to patients and healthcare providers including nurses, physicians, educators and social service personnel ensuring services provided are consistent with organizational policies, applicable research and current standards of care.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and/or Bachelor’s Degree in health education or related field required

  • Current BLS certification required

  • Minimum of 3+ years experience providing lactation education, resources and support to patients and healthcare providers or any combination of education and experience*

*Position does not require a RN license.
