Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Administration Supervisor, the Medical Group Coordinator supports the activities of the Professional Corporation (PC) to meet the requirements of the Woodland Clinic Medical Group (WCMG) and outside regulatory agencies. This position supports the WCMG's Medical Director with all aspects of Physician and Allied Health Professional Support.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two to three years progressive administrative support experience in a hospital or other medical environment

  • High School graduation or equivalent

  • Experience with advanced word processing equipment and computers; Areas of strengths must include decision making, problem solving, communication skills, analytical expertise, and confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Administrative healthcare setting or Human Resources, as well as experience in accounting, payroll and supporting senior level management is desirable

  • Prefer three years of experience in comparable work environment

  • Some college preferred AA or BA degree

  • Accounting and payroll functions

  • Knowledge of database programs and computer query language is highly desirable
