The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs in-vivo studies and therapeutic anddiagnosticimaging procedures according to written or transcribed verbal orders of a physician within the scope of his/her certification according to established standards and practices under the direction of Imaging Services Supervisor,Manager and Radiology Medical Director. Demonstrates competency for neonate, infant, toddler,pre-school, school age, adolescent, early adult, middleadult and late adulthood patients. Primary responsibility resides in the daily and comprehensive operations of a single-technologist department. Performs all other duties assigned/approved by Nuclear Medicine.
Current California State Nuclear MedicineTechnology Certification.
Current BLS through American Heart Association.
American Registryof RadiologicalTechnologist (ARRT-NM) is preferred.
Minimumof four years experience as a certified nuclear medicine technologist.
